Not that this constitutes a great deal of meaningful data, but based on this table, a few teams might be worth closer scrutiny here in 2006:
- Green Bay - 4 win teams are 15-10 at home while 11 win away teams like Chicago are just 8-15 opening
the next season on the road.
- Kansas City - 10 win teams are 20-8 at home while 11 win away teams like Cincinnati are just 8-15 opening the next season on the road.
- N.Y. Giants - 11 win teams are 18-10 at home while 14 win away teams like Indianapolis are just 2-6 opening the next season on the road.
- Oakland - 4 win teams are 15-10 at home while 9 win away teams like San Diego are just 12-18 opening the next season on the road.
- Pittsburgh - 11 win teams are 18-10 at home while 9 win away teams like Miami are just 12-18 opening the next season on the road.
- Washington - 10 win teams are 20-8 at home while 9 win away teams like Minnesota are just 12-18 opening the next season on the road.
