Not that this constitutes a great deal of meaningful data, but based on this table you would speculate that home teams with losing records on the year are poor bets as favorites. A few teams might be worth a closer look here in 2006:
- New Orleans - plays as underdog to a Carolina team that is 1-2
- San Francisco - plays as underdog to a Kansas City team that is 0-2
