NFL Best Bet Picks

Each week the person in charge of a subscriber feature can submit a 'best bet' selection. These have proved to be very potent in some cases since the introduction of this concept five years ago, and we will present a best bet freebie on this page each week.

Each week you can click on our Bet Tracker link and see the updated charts and data showing real time the percentage of bets for each team in a given game, as well as the ratio of over to under total score bets.

As for what day of the week has the most meaningful numbers, we don't have any hard research. However last season the teams with less than 20% of the bets on Tuesday fared very well against the spread. This week there were three such teams:

15% Baltimore
17% Kansas City
17% Arizona

Analysis: in this second time appearance on the Best Bet Freebie (and the Bet Tracker best bets are 7-3 overall on the season), the most skewed game comes as Baltimore hosts the mighty Patriots on Monday Night. An amazing +21 line is available at Bodog, and when was the last time a Monday Night Home Dog got anywhere close to that number of points. Pride matters in football and if the Ravens don't show up ready to play this week then all is lost in Baltimore.
