Analysis: one interesting area of exploration with the Falcon PP's is with "new highs" and "new lows" of performance for a team. Teams often "bounce" after an extreme performance -- bouncing back down after a ridiculously good outcome, bouncing back up after a super bad one. For Miami there is no doubt last week represented a low point on a season of low points. At 0-12 they are staring the shame of being the first NFL team to ever go 0-16 square in the face. Last week they were favored and lost by 27 points! The Falcon Fig on the game was a horrendous 58. Ouch! On the bright side however they only lost by a field goal to Buffalo in the first meeting, and have in fact lost six times this year by three points. Buffalo doesn't tend to score lots of points which means laying a touchdown is quite a lot. The Bills are fighting for a playoff spot which is important, but Miami players are fighting to avoid a humiliating legacy.
