Not that this constitutes a great deal of meaningful data, but based on this table you would speculate that the home team last result is the key: off a win lean to the home side, off a loss back the away team. A few teams might be worth a closer look here in 2008:
- Kansas City - lost last week and play at Atlanta who lost last week
- Tampa Bay - won last week and play at Chicago who lost last week
- Carolina - won last week and play at Minnesota who lost last week
- St. Louis - lost last week and play at Seattle who lost last week
- Pittsburgh - won last week and play at Philadelphia who lost last week
- N.Y. Jets - lost last week and play at San Diego who lost last week
