NFL selections from Kevin Lewis
If you are one of the millions of people who has already read the "Bringing Down the House" bestseller, then Kevin Lewis will need no introduction. He is the central character and 'big player' in the team of MIT students who won millions of dollars at Blackjack over a span of several years from casinos throughout the country. His expertise however extends well beyond the game of '21' and indeed over the past two seasons he has published weekly picks for every single game, with a winning record of better than 55%!
Kevin will also be a participant in our Head-to-Head Challenge.

NFL Week Eleven
6-8 last week… 2 steps forward 2 steps backward… argh… 67-71-4…
Buffalo +1 over St. Louis
Great spot to take Buffalo… St. Louis has trouble outdoors and on the road. Buffalo has played well at home and has a defense that will give the Rams trouble. This is my favorite game on the board
Baltimore -8 over Dallas
Kind of hard to back Dallas at this point. They really seem to have quit on Parcells and the Ravens will ram the ball down Dallas’ throat.
Cleveland ev over NY Jets
Cleveland has played well at home and the Jets seem to be finally getting exposed after a good start against weak competition.
Cincy +4 over Pittsburgh
Keep waiting for the Pit letdown. I may be waiting for a while but I’ll take my chances on a home team which is playing much better and had a nice win against Washington last week.
Indy -7.5 @ Chicago
Clearly a squares bet but I have to think that Indy will score 30 + points and I can’t see Chicago scoring more than 20 points even against this defense.
Minnesota -7.5 over Detroit
Minny returns home and returns to form against a Detroit team which overachieved but is now in a bit of trouble.
Arizona +2.5 over Carolina
Cardinals make it two in a row on the road as they beat a hapless Carolina team.
Jacksonville -3.5 over Tennessee
Tennessee is in a very unfamiliar place – out of contention. And my guess is they fold in the next couple weeks.
TB -8 over SF
TB’s D matches up too well with SF’s offense and SF D has too many injuries to stop anyone.
Denver -4 over NO
You’d have to think NO will have a tough time getting Denver’s offense off the field and that will spell a long day for the Saints.
Miami +10 @ Seattle
Seattle’s weak defense will allow even the hapless Miami offense to put up 17 points and the Miami D will keep this one within reach.
SD -3.5 @ Oakland
SD is for real and this Oak team is not very good. It’s a bad sign when a first year coach is already hearing rumors of his firing.
NY Giants +2.5 over Atlanta
This is a classic contrarian play. This line being only 2.5 says that the man wants action on Atlanta and fears the Giants as a home dog. I’ll be on the man’s side.
Washington +10.5 @ Philly
Message to Gibbs: Give the ball to Portis a lot.
Houston +3 over GB
Although GB has played much better lately this seems like a bad spot for them and you’d have to think Houston will bounce back from a couple lackluster performances.
NE -3 @ KC
Just can’t bet against my Pats in a game which might spell trouble for them. At the end of the day you are giving Bill an extra day to prepare for a KC team with some big holes.
