NFL selections from Kevin Lewis
If you are one of the millions of people who has already read the "Bringing Down the House" bestseller, then Kevin Lewis will need no introduction. He is the central character and 'big player' in the team of MIT students who won millions of dollars at Blackjack over a span of several years from casinos throughout the country. His expertise however extends well beyond the game of '21' and indeed over the past two seasons he has published weekly picks for every single game, with a winning record of better than 55%!
Kevin will also be a participant in our Head-to-Head Challenge.

NFL Week Three
Well a week 2 mulligan as some bad luck and bad picks gave me a 7-9 week bringing my season record to 16-14-1… Yuck…
On to this week…
Mia -1 over Pit
Total in this game is low and I don’t think they could make it low enough… Both teams have a better chance to score w/defense. Lot of rumblings out of Miami about poor offensive game plans but I think Miami’s D at home will be too much for Rothlisberger whose only real NFL experience has been against the prevent defense. Miami will rattle him.
Atlanta -10 over Arizona
Zona is bad. And Atlanta’s D is underrated. They are blitzing a lot and will tee of on McCown which will make for a long afternoon for the Cardinals QB.
NO +7 @ St. Louis
Just don’t like these Rams at all and think that Brooks will have a field day throwing to his talented receivers. Even without McCallister I expect the Saints to keep this close
Tennessee -6 over Jacksonville
Tennessee will take advantage of the weaker part of Jax’s defense. Their pass defense and will win this game by over a touchdown.
NY Giants -3 over Cleveland
Cleveland is just too injured and they will not be able to stop what is a surprisingly effective Giants ground attack.
Cincy +3 over Baltimore
I know CP looked bad against Miami last week but the bottom line is there game plan was very conservative as they knew they wouldn’t need to score much to win. When they opened things up on the last drive CP looked good and Cincy has a good game plan against the Baltimore defense witnessed by Kitna’s surprising numbers last season.
Houston +7 @ KC
Tough to win in Arrowhead but tough to win when you can’t stop the run. Gut check for both teams and I’ll go with the one without a crying coach.
Seattle -10 over SF
Just think that the Seahawks at home will be too much for the beat up niners. I like Dorsey and what he brings to the table but he is just a little too green.
Minnesota -9.5 over Chicago
Chicago is a tough team and has played Minny tough in the last few years but with a patchwork secondary and an angry Vikings team this one could get ugly.
Detroit +5.5 over Philly
Not sold on the Lions but have to take the home team in what could be a let down game for the Eagles.
Denver -10 over SD
Take the home team here and run to the bank… I hope. Tough game but have to think that Denver has a big game in them after last week’s tough loss to Jacksonville.
Indy -6 over Green Bay
Favre in a dome against a team that will put up numbers against his defense. Just have to go with the Colts who looked like a team on a mission last week at Tennessee
Oakland -3 over TB
Revenge… who will get it? Gannon for the Superbowl or the aging ex-Raiders who now play for the Bucs. I see a low scoring game here but I’m not sure how the Bucs will score. So Raiders it is.
Washington -1 over Dallas
Wake me up when this one is over. I just think Dallas is overrated and I think Washington at home will be too much for an overrated Cowboy’s team.
