NFL selections from Kevin Lewis
If you are one of the millions of people who has already read the "Bringing Down the House" bestseller, then Kevin Lewis will need no introduction. He is the central character and 'big player' in the team of MIT students who won millions of dollars at Blackjack over a span of several years from casinos throughout the country. His expertise however extends well beyond the game of '21' and indeed over the past two seasons he has published weekly picks for every single game, with a winning record of better than 55%!
Kevin will also be a participant in our Head-to-Head Challenge.

NFL Week Eight
7-6-1 last week. I’m giving myself credit for picking Arizona as everyone that knows me can attest to it. Loved them last week and somehow it didn’t manage to get into some versions of my column… so after 7 weeks I’m at a very mediocre 48-48-4. I really need a big week to get that record up.
Washington +2 over Green Bay
Green Bay dismantled Dallas and may have some luck scoring against what seems to be a bit of an overrated Washington defense but the bottom line is GB’s D is still very weak especially against he pass and on the road I cannot give points with them.
Philly -7.5 over Baltimore
Philly hit a little road bump last week but they are too dynamic to not put up something like 20 points on this Baltimore team. Baltimore is not likely to score more than 10.
Arizona +3 @ Buffalo
Arizona is playing teams tough and this game should be no exception as the JP Losman countdown begins.
NYG +6.5 @ Minnesota
Minnesota has been a juggernaut at home but the Giants play them well in Minny and they will rebound from a terrible performance against the Lions.
Cincy +3 @ Tennessee
Titans are beat up on offense and Cincy has a bit of confidence after a big win against the Broncos.
KC +1 over Indy
Like KC to grind out a win on the ground over this Indy team. KC cannot afford many more loses the rest of the season.
Dallas -3 over Detroit
Not a big Dallas supporter but at home giving three in a must win game this seems like a good time to support them.
Houston -1 over Jacksonville
Houston will attack the Jaguars through the air and will give them some trouble. Jax comes off big win in Indy but may suffer a letdown here.
Denver -7 over Atlanta
Look for a big day from Ruben and another sub par game from Vick.
Seattle -8 over Carolina
Big bounce back game for Seattle. Problem with Carolina is they are beat up and missing important personnel on both sides of the ball. Seattle needs to come up with a big performance here.
NE -3 @ Pitt
Big Ben is nothing short of impressive but he now faces a defense that will show him looks that he has never seen before. NE will put up some points against this Pit D.
Oakland +6 @ SD
Don’t like backing this Raider team but SD as a 6 point favorite just does not have the defense that I would like to give up this kind of number. Not too mention LT is a bit banged up.
SF +1.5 @ Chicago
I would just rather back Rattay than Krenzel/Quinn and SF has been a much more spirited team than these Bears.
Miami +6.5 @ NY Jets
Would like to see a 7 on this game but the Dolphins are playing for their season and have a better offense with Morris in the backfield.
